The prospect replied. What happened next?

A reply is the start of a sales conversation. Managers also need to know whether the team asked the right questions and agreed a next step.

Use the team's actual sales checklist.

02
Review the messages

Ask for evidence and missing context.

Sound familiar?

Your sales team works across several Telegram accounts. The playbook describes how to qualify a lead and prepare an offer, but the manager needs to see how those rules are used in actual conversations.

Outreach activity is only part of the picture

A sales conversation continues from outreach into discovery, qualification and an offer. The team's internal wiki defines what should happen at each stage. Reviewing the conversation against those rules helps a manager see which questions were asked and what remains open.

The manager needs to see which questions the representative asked, what the prospect needs and whether a next step was agreed. Review those points against the conversation and the team's checklist.

Keep the workflow people rely on

Salespeople organize client chats in folders and reply from their phones as well as their computers. Keep those habits in place when adding a management view of the conversations.

Use the saved history for review while the representative continues working in Telegram. Include folders, mobile access and the corporate account's daily workflow in your setup checklist.

Review one stage with explicit criteria

Choose a small sample of conversations and one stage, such as qualification. Give the approved AI tool the relevant archived conversation and the team's actual checklist. Ask it to identify the evidence for each criterion, what is missing and where the conversation does not reveal the answer.

A manager reviews the findings with the representative. The outcome might be a missed question, an unclear follow-up, a useful example for training, or simply a case where the decision happened on a call. Absence from the chat is not proof that the work was never done.

A review is more useful than a black-box score

Keep the criteria and the supporting messages visible. If the AI identifies a weak next step, it should point to the wording or explain that no next step appears in the saved conversation. Ask it to distinguish a fact, an interpretation and a question for the manager.

This is especially useful when a prospect moves between a group, a direct message and a call. Decide which of those sources are available before drawing a conclusion. Do not treat a partial archive as a complete record of a deal.

Turn findings into useful coaching

Use the conversation review in the manager's regular one-to-one with the representative. Open the messages behind each finding, add context from calls and choose the next action together.

Start with a reviewed list of coaching points: the question to ask, the agreement to clarify and the next step to confirm. Use this in the next one-to-one with the representative. Linking the wiki or sending findings to a CRM needs its own integration setup.

A question to try with your AI

Replace the fields in brackets with your details.

Review this conversation at the [sales stage] stage against the attached checklist. For each criterion, show supporting messages if available, missing information and questions for the reviewer. Separate observations from interpretations. A missing chat record does not mean an action never happened. Do not assign an unexplained score.

Your working checklist

  • The sample belongs to authorized corporate accounts.
  • The review uses the current sales playbook.
  • Findings can be checked against the conversation.
  • Calls and missing history are marked as context gaps.
