Your team works in Slack. Your partners still message on Telegram.

A single internal messenger does not put every external conversation in one place.

Sound familiar?

Your team plans work in Slack, while partners send introductions, discuss terms and agree meetings in Telegram. The person in the chat knows the context; the rest of the team needs a way to pick it up.

The gap sits between the tools

A technology team may do most of its internal work in Slack while using email and other channels with external counterparts. Web3 relationships often start or continue in Telegram. Important context then sits outside the team's main workspace.

The practical problem is the boundary between those channels. A partner discussion may contain a constraint, an introduction or the next step that has not reached the internal project workspace. The aim is to carry the relevant context across that boundary, not replace the company's main collaboration tool.

Choose the work context, not the entire network

A person's Telegram network may be their own, even when they use it for business. Asking every contact to move to a separate corporate account adds friction. Define the relevant work conversations before deciding what should enter the company archive.

Define which work conversations may be used, who can access them and how that permission is established. Where a corporate account is appropriate, separate its operation from personal communication. Where it is not, agree a narrower way to hand over the relevant information.

Prepare a briefing for the next meeting

For an authorized partner conversation with saved history, ask the approved AI to prepare a brief: the partner's request, explicit agreements, open questions and the next proposed action. Include the date range and identify missing coverage.

The relationship owner checks the brief against the original discussion, then shares the necessary context in the internal workspace. Keep the source available for later verification. A proposed integration is not a signed commitment, and an introduction is not proof of a commercial partnership.

Review the data path before connecting AI

Map where Telegram data is saved, which service can read it and what is sent to the chosen AI provider. The archive location and the AI processing location are separate decisions. Include both in the technical review.

If deployment inside the company's infrastructure is required, define and review that architecture with the technical owner. Do not assume that using an on-premise archive automatically keeps data inside the same perimeter when an external AI service is connected.

Keep partner context available to the next colleague

Add the reviewed brief to the partner's record in your team's workspace. Include current agreements, open questions, the next action and the person responsible. Link to the source conversation where available.

Update the record after the next partner discussion. A colleague joining the meeting or taking over the relationship should be able to understand its history and continue from the current position.

A question to try with your AI

Replace the fields in brackets with your details.

Prepare a briefing for a partner meeting from [conversation] during [period]. List the partner's request, explicit agreements, open questions and possible next actions. Distinguish proposals from commitments. Identify source messages if available, and mark missing context. Do not describe an introduction or discussion as a confirmed partnership.

Your working checklist

  • The relevant work context and permissions are defined.
  • Archive storage and AI processing locations are known.
  • A relationship owner checks the brief.
  • The internal team can trace the important facts to their source.
